1. Who we are
trAIner.app is a personal training application developed and operated by Arturo Alcorta, based in Spain. Contact: trainerapp.support@gmail.com

2. What data we collect
We collect the following personal data when you use trAIner:

Account data: email address, username, and Google account ID (if you sign in with Google)
Profile data: profile picture (optional)
Training data: exercises, weights, repetitions, sets, and session history
Technical data: session cookies necessary for authentication

We do not collect location data, device identifiers, or behavioral tracking data.

3. How we use your data
Your data is used exclusively to:

Provide and maintain the trAIner service
Authenticate your identity and keep your session active
Generate AI-powered training analysis and progression recommendations
Display your training history and progress
Restore password in case of forgetting.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than providing the service.

4. Third parties we share data with
Email is shared with Resend only in the case that the user forgot their password and wants to regenerate it.
Google account will also be used to access the app via OAuth, but no information from within the app will be available to Google.
Training data sent to Anthropic for AI analysis does not include your name, email, or any personal identifier — only exercise names, weights, and repetitions.

5. Data storage and security
Your data is stored on servers located in [Tres Cantos, Madrid, Spain]. We implement technical security measures including:

Encrypted connections (HTTPS) via Cloudflare
Cryptographically signed session cookies
Password hashing using bcrypt
Access restricted to authenticated users only


6. Your rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the following rights:

Access: request a copy of your personal data
Rectification: correct inaccurate data
Erasure: request deletion of your account and all associated data. When deleting your account via the app, all your associated data will be inmediately erased.
Portability: receive your data in a machine-readable format
Objection: object to processing of your data

7. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all your personal data and training history will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

8. Children
trAIner is not intended for users under 14 years of age (16 in some EU countries). We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Cookies
We use only session cookies strictly necessary for authentication. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies. No cookie consent banner is required as we only use technically necessary cookies.

10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notification. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
